Still not feeling it

Creativity that is.

I can't even take pictures. My camera was stolen from inside of my car along with my purse which is "horrible" but a story for another time.

This blog is seriously lacking in anything splendid or delightful. Maybe I should shut it down?

I'll be thinking on that.

My husband is with Jesus

I do believe I still have one or two readers on this blog and therefore wanted to let you know that my husband went to be with Jesus on December 26, 2008. You can read a little about it on my personal blog or read the amazing comment from a dear friend of my husbands on his blog. Life is short. Remember to enjoy the moments because you never know when you'll no longer have those moments. Blessings for the new year.

Always,

In need of some help

My husband is in the hospital again. His liver enzymes are elevated, he's jaundice and in severe pain. Words can not express how completely sad I feel for my husband right now. Please keep him in your prayers. We believe in the power of prayer and we would love to have you pray with us.

Other news, we've decided to move. It's just what is best all the way around right now, for everyone. Especially Dan. We can use the extra monies we make to go towards the best care and treatment available for him. He NEEDS the best because what he's had has been substandard. It's not a toothache, it's his life! He will be undergoing both traditional and natural methods. We were referred to an excellent Dr at the Arizona Cancer Center in Tuscon so we will have to be traveling to and from and possibly be staying for prolonged days depending on his treatment. We are in need of help.

Specifically, these items
Packing and moving
Patching and painting the walls
Help with yardwork
Baseboard cleaning
Help with house cleaning

Carpet Cleaning
Monetary Donations - we will be having a fundraiser; more info to come
Help finding a movable storage unit and setting it up for this week if possible
Gas Card Donations -because one of his new Dr's is in Tuscon: more info to come
A mechanic that can give my truck a tune up - because I don't know if it will even make it to and from Tuscon
Prayer... lots and lots of prayer - if you can come and pray with us at the hospital or our homes, we would even greatly appreciate that
Homeopathic/naturopathic Referrals - because we are doing both traditional and natural remedies for my husband
Vegan Recipes -Because we are completely cutting out all processed, refined and sugar containing foods..cancer feeds on sugar We are also going all organic
Hotel/timeshare/housing donations in Tuscon

**There are other things but at the moment, I can't think of them. I'll list all of this on my blogs as well when I get the chance.

On hold

I'm not completely shutting down this blog but due to my husbands recent cancer diagnosis, I've realized that keeping up with two blogs, four children and a very ill husband is more than I can handle at the moment. I'll be back when there's more semblance of normalcy in life. Until then, Blessing to you all.

Malignant, chemo, radiation

These are all words that have been circling in my mind. At the biopsy on Monday, the Dr said he thinks my husbands tumor is malignant and that he will need chemo and/or radiation to shrink the mass which is in the muscle. It's crazy what goes through your head in a situation like this.

Then there are the kids. They sense things, I know they do. They've been very clingy to us. Thank goodness I have a big lap because it seems like they all want to sit on it at the exact same time! As crazy as it drives me to be a jungle gym mom, it's also my reminder of what complete blessings they.

Taking it one day at a time. One moment. Through all of this, hope is not lost.
